Annual Square Events

There are several annual events happening in Dedham Square which the Dedham Square Circle either organizes or supports the efforts of the organizations which do. 

Dedham Open Studios - Over 80 local artists will showcase their work throughout Dedham in their home studios, at the Endicott Esate and 50 of the artists will be loacted in Dedham Square.  To be held on Sunday, May 15th. Visit www.dedhamopenstudios.com to learn more.

 James Joyce Ramble - each year on the last Sunday in April, thousands of runners descend upon Dedham to partake in the Ramble, a 10k roadrace whose course covers much of the Square.  The Ramble has become a Dedham institution and is not to be missed!  This year's event will be held on Sunday, May 1st (a week later than usual because of the Easter holiday).

 Spring Music and Arts Festival  - held on a Saturday in June, this outdoor music festival features several live musical performances across a variety of music genres, over the course of one day.  Local artists showcase their work under one big tent, children's activities, food vendors and a whole lot of fun. The best part? It's all FREE! 

Fall Spectacular - In November, the Dedham Square Circle plans a fundraiser like none other, complete with creative themes, fantastic food, drink and company.   

Holiday Stroll  & Tree Lighting -  Merchants stay open late to offer special discounts, promotions, complimentary refreshments, free goodies and raffles, and lots of holiday cheer. Ceremonial lighting of the town's Christmas tree, street performers, entertainment, roving carolers and constumed characters. Fun for all ages.  Held on the first Friday in December.
